As a form of corporate social responsibility, on 5-8 March 2007, PT. Hexindo Adiperkasa actively participate in UNS Expo held in Auditorium Universitas Negeri Surakarta. This programme is conducted to commemorate Dies Natalis XXXI Universitas Negeri Surakarta (UNS)

There are around thirty instutions from both government and private sector which participates in this expo. The expo itself opened by UNS Dean, Prof. Dr. dr. H. Much. Syamsulhadi, Sp. KJ on 5th March 2007. The expo held 4 days and aimed to promote the advanced technology and industry from all of participants and also functioned as an opportunity for UNS Graduates to be able to join in as an employee through offered recruitment.

PT. Hexindo Adiperkasa Tbk (HAP) as the only participant from heavy machinery line of business has received a positif response from all of expo visitors. As an effort to attract visitors, Hexindo held numbers of games by giving attractive souvenirs/merchandises for all of visitors who can answer the question regarding HAP and its products.

From numbers of programmes planned, the recruitment program is the main programme which become the objective of HAP participation in this expo. HAP received many of applications and most of the applicants interested in working as Instructor, Operator Trainer, Parts SPV and Technician. After sorting process, HAP has conducted selection test of 28 candidates who are considered qulified for the vacant position.

Considering the space and HR limitations, the selection test was held in three consecutive days, on 6 to 8 March 2007. The selection test consisted of psycho test and interview for all of the candidates. Some of the candidates seemed very enthusiastic in this activity and hoping to join HAP. The test result will be discussed then with the users, so the company need for HR this year can be fulfilled.
